yes ... i saw hawkwind twice in the early seventies and also gong twice in the same time zone. these were important moments for me; the first i heard of hawkwind was on the old john peel live show about 1970 i think; they played for half an hour alongside the mick abrhams band colled wombat. i taped it on reel to reel using a micrphone against the speaker of the radio; years later i transfered the recording to cassette and still have it. it brings up the goosebumps even now. i got the first album for xmas 1970 and still have that... they were my main inspiration for years.
