Daisies? Looking at them or eating them? I agree, age is relative. My relatives give me grey hairs Sometimes I look like Methuselah and feel like Peter Pan - depends on the night before

I live in a rural area, and there are many edible plants here. One of my favourites is a type of spinach, called 'pig weed' Also lots of berries, fruits, and probably roots, too, except I don't know enough about them to recognize the safe ones
During the summer, (now), we have an abundance of fresh fruit, such as peaches (yum), so although there are daisies, in many varieties, I have yet to sample any
Do you have any recipies?

Right you are! Apparently someone has discovered a substance in snowdrops that helps prevent Parkinson's disease. Who knows what beneficial compounds are present in daisies?
My sister has been combatting Lupus all her life. She would agree with you that certain foods are harmful, and others are beneficial

plants have been used for healing and controlling diseases for so long now! the art of the apothocary is a dying one though!!
unfortunatly its not really my field of expertiese, just something a show an interest in! my job is in health care though and systemic lupus erythmatosis is something i know about, although it cant be cured by diet eliminating the harmful foods can alleviate the symptoms of lupus...the harmful substances in food have to be identified by elimination, a long drawn out process but beneficial and worth the effort!
hope ur sis is keeping well hon, i was tested for lupus a couple of years ago as i was exhibiting early signs! i was lucky though and the results where negative!
