Hi there and welcome to The Hitch Hikers Guide CM ... My name is Greebo T. Cat, and me is an Assistant Community Editor here at H2G2. If you need any help then ask away, me will try to help all me can.

Here is a handy link to a page me wrote for new researchers to the guide such as yourself, it has several links to parts of the guide that you might like to visit. So if you have the time, why not pop over to http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A517286

Me hopes you are enjoying the guide... me see's your name... which me loves by the way... came from a story someone wrote about you... me too has had a story written about me... and was very flattered when my friend gave it to me... mine was set in the future... as me has a great love of that sort of thing... ~grin~

Me has been trying to guess what your real name could be... being as it sounds like Crumbly Milkpipe... ~Greebo grins hugely at the name~... er... is Cruddy Milkbottle... Crummy Milkstick... hmmm... Crazy Apple Crumble????

Please tell me if me is right... me is dying in suspense here...

Huggles Greebs... xxx

Evening, cat-type person. Funny, I've never really liked cats, but last night I got to know one who lives across the road, called Jess. She's quite young and mischievous, not moody like some cats can be. She climbed into my car when i wasn't looking and fell asleep on the parcel shelf. You don't sound at all moody though.

Crumbly Milkpipe only sounds like my real name in that my first name begins with a C and my second name has Milk in it. S'pose you must like milk a lot. By the way, what does the T stand for? Terence? Tarantula? Tortoise? Toadstool? All would be good names. I think middle names should be interesting.

I thought for my first piece of writing I'd write a little guide to where I live. Sound like a good start?

Me loves milk... in a glass with a straw... and me lives on doughnuts... my most favourite food in the whole wide net... ~grin~

Me afriad that the T. in the middle of my name is not quite so exciting and stands for THE... as in Greebo The Cat... oh well... ~Grimace..~

Me is a she by the way... me knows you were wondering... ~grin~

Me is glad you have made friends with a fellow feline... Jess is a nice name... me has a niece called Jess... short for Jessica...

Me thinks an article about where you live would be a great guide article... me can't wait to read it...

Greebs.. xx

I thought you were a female cat, male cats tend to have deeper voices. Mind you, when I was very young, I used to think that dogs were male and cats were female, and they used to, well, get married I suppose. How wrong I was..

I have a pet duck called Horace. He's pretty clever and is two years old. He comes to work with me and hoovers the crumbs of my lunch up for his dinner. And he guards my desk when I'm not there.

Where do you live, Ms Cat?

~Grin~... dogs are male and cats are female... ~Greebo thinks about this..~ Is that true???? ~Greebo looks vaguely worried~

Me would love to meet Horace... ~grin~... he sounds like a wonderful friend... ~bigger grin~... what sort of work allows you to take a pet in with you?

Me is from England.. me used to live in Lancre with my Nanny... have you heard of Lancre on the Discworld???

horace is a great friend, but he's mischeivous and although he's clever he doesn't always unerstand anything, and often gets notions in his head which are very hard to shift. However, this just makes him comical. I work for the government, but he is very good at hiding and ducking (ha) and diving.

I live in England too, SE London. I'm afraid I've only ever read one Discworld book, so I'm not familiar with Lancre.

At last, a long weekend! Haven't got a clue what to do to pass the time tho'..
