Today I converted my old h2g2 space to the new BBC Online. It appears that everything from the old is gone; the new is blank. Since I cannot recall posting a single Anglo-Saxonism, it's puzzling. On the other hand, since I cannot recall posting a single sentence worthy of being described as literature, there's no great loss, "and it's no great matter."
So we start over. Few people have such an opportunity. A blank slate. Three cheers! CHEERS! CHEERS! CHEERS!
