since yesterday Dutch game wardens and royal constabulary (60) are looking for puma in a nature reserve the Veluwe, in central part of the Netherlands. the puma already killed a dear. the puma will be shot to kill, because the chance of escape in fairly large nature reserve is too risky. the stopped looking when they night fell last night and started this morning. it is unknow where puma come from, because nobody claimed the puma, yet. atleast he is not escaped from a zoo.

all tho people are warned people not to go there, puma tourism is blooming. people!

Why can't they use a narcotic to shoot him with ?

too dangerous, because they might hit him hard enough with dart and it might escape.

Iam sure, but the area is big...will look for square kms!

it is 5.500 hectares large

1 hectares is 10 km² / 6.21 miles...so can so one smart do math

the puma is still on the loose. the actors of a Dutch soap opera for young people is record un Zoo started an action use narcotic arrow. they have find it first.

the puma seems to go into hiding the more people look for it. the found paw prints of the puma.

it might be cross between puma and jaguar...
