Rembrandt van Rijn, the famous Dutch painter was born 400 years ago on Saterday 15 of July.
"nearly" every one knows his xl painting "the nightwatch".
they also created Rembrandt, the musical with the costumes inspired from his paintings. the most expensive Dutch musical
it was far too expensive to insure to display over 400 paintings coming from all over the world to the Netherlends so they made high quality reproductions and hanged them in chronologic order.

I've seen a Rembrandt exhibition with about 50 or so of his paintings a few years ago, it was great

that is very cultural...
I seen the "the nightwatch" a few times
...the best was when there was no protective glass in front of it.
