...there was kidnap before her family. her millionare dad had some dealings with Sadam Hussein. her husband is head of her father in law's company. I do not know all the details.

she was not freed by police, but released by her kidnappers...

the 3 English speaking kidnappers wanted 300 kilos cocaine.

Thank goodness she was released but who can tell what the trauma has done to her and her family. A most dreadful nightmare that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

I wonder if it would be better if the news media did not report kidnappings as surely the publicity plays into the hands of the criminals and may well give others ideas.

in this case the 3 kidnappers released her, because they did not expected media exposure. they were overwhelmed.

Or their consciences pricked them and thank goodness they did in this case.
