I wanted to talk to you about the Magicians Guild...

I like the stuff you've had with Lupisberg (sp?), but it's too much now, I think.

I love the whole throne tension - it's a good plot-maker. But...

The magic resistance...is...dodgy at best, I think. Craxus and I never worked out if any kind of magic resistance could be had; it wasn't discussed. Surely if it were possible, people from Imardin would have been able to do it at some points?

But that's ok, at a stretch. I think, however, that this new magic academy and everything growing up as well, it's too much. I can't see how much it will help the plot for anyone but the high council members, and you, and perhaps one or two other higher members. And it's the young ones that we need to encourage.

So. There we have it - I'm sure we can sort something out?

The imunity to magic thing came about through a helm which Ulrik had which couldn't be used by anyone with a suceptibility to magic, mainly because it would give a mage too much power, so I said something about it being deadly to anyone who wasn't imune to magic, I can happily say that Ulrik is the only person like that in imardin. I thought to make him the result of experimentation as if it was natural then thered be lots of them walking about. Also we can pass the reason it was never developed off as being dark experiments or lost lore or some such.
Concerning the Lupsburg College of Art, it was never meant to be restarted, it was just an explanation as to why Thurin's family have a huge magical library and to give some dark tint to the magic in Lupsburg and explain why Thurin is opposed to mages being in civil power.

You've thought this through a lot, and it shows --

But we'll draw the line at all of this, ok? And I don't know if you ever spoke to Craxus about it, but now, could you tell me beforehand just to make sure it's ok to have?
