Dear Douglas,
I just wanted to come and say hello, even though you are gone now. I am bursting with things to say, but I will keep it short.
I wish so much I could have met you someday, either in real life or even here on h2g2. But thank you for so many things -- Great books, so many laughs, and a new outlook on Life, the Universe and Everything.
I know its cliché, but I'll say it anyway: So long, and thanks for all the...everything.
You have inspired me. Thank you.
