Are you going to make another series of The HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy?
Are you going to make a film out of the books?

What is the confusion with the extra 5th book (Young Zaphod Play's it Safe). Why is it not genneraly available in England?
To :- Douglas
Jim Lynn Posted May 23, 1999
Young Zaphod Plays It Safe is not a Hitch-Hiker's novel - it was a short story written by Douglas for the Comic Relief book which he co-edited.
The novels in the series are:
The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
Life, The Universe, and Everything
So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish
Mostly Harmless

Thank you. I didn't realise that it was written for Comic Relief. It has however been included in the Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide. Is there any real relevance to the other stories?

Why isn't the don't panic button in large friendly letters on the front page?
To :- Douglas
Yeliab {h2g2as} Posted May 27, 1999

DON'T PANIC, a cover page thats what we need. I'm sure the TDV team could come up with it in a nanosecond.

I shall hereby pipe up and identify myself as a second person who has long been under the impression that N is for Noel.
There. Now we have an unbalanced statistic. I like unbalanced things.

Stop balancing the statistics. Now you're going to make me go check, aren't you? That was very dirty of you, I've got to say. I would have been perfectly fine knowing I was right if you hadn't suggested that I could just as easily be completely wrong. Damn it.

what you know as km Posted Jun 9, 1999
Right. Well, if it does say, I haven't the patience to find it. I've read this stuff already. It's no fun anymore. We're just going to have to wait until someone we can trust comes by to settle this for us.

Well....thats what I was told by George Washington

Peta Posted Jun 11, 1999
Noel. Must be - he doesn't look like a Nigel or write like a Nigel. Will go check...

Quote from the FAQ at the www.douglasadams.com website: -
By the way, his name is Douglas Noel Adams, so around here we often call him
DNA for short. He was born March 11, 1952, in Cambridge. For more off-line
info about DNA you can't beat Don't Panic by Neil Gaiman.
