Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun...
Researcher Cobalt Poet Started conversation May 18, 2001
Considering I never met this man and he lived half a world away from me, I feel silly sitting here on the verge of tears. But I am.
These words from "Funeral Blues" by W.H. Auden keep running through my head:
"The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good."
He will be missed.
