The shock was very great when I found on one of my favorite news sites this morning that Douglas was dead. I'm afraid there's nothing I can say that hasn't been said, so I'll say only: Douglas, you'll be missed. Thank you for your ideas and your books and your legacy. You'll never be forgotten.
