Even though I never met DNA, I felt sorry for his loss - something that never happened to me before. An explanation? I do not have one. All I know is that his books certainly made me feel better - I swallowed every bit of the HHGG several times and never choked on them. Thank you for letting me pass my English test (reading HHGG was a LOT better than reading stuff like James Joyce or any other zarkingly boring book). Thank you for allowing me to freak people out when I burst into another fit of uncontrolled laughter while reading in a closely packed train.
I doubt anyone will ever be able to repeat that.
All the sadder the loss.
