Where God Went Wrong...
Fafnir Started conversation May 14, 2001
Last Saturday, R.E.M. were playing life in Cologne and I - living only some eighty km from there - didn't know anything about it until it was too late to get there. Can't imagine how angry I was but it was nothing compared to the sadness I had felt earlier that day when I had heard of Douglas' death. Not only is there no book I've read more often and no text I'm quoting more regularly than "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" - I believe that Douglas Adams was one of the most creative authors and artists of our time and that he would have continued contributing his part to making our world a more beautiful and happier place. Taking him out of the game was probably one more of God's greatest mistakes.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
