Inconsolable
Vandervecken Started conversation May 14, 2001
I am totally inconsolable. I got in my car and drove to work this morning, and when I hit PLAY, the H2G2 tape that is always in my cassette player just happened to start at the point just before the end of the first radio series. As Louis Armstrong faded back in after the closing credits, I couldn't help crying.
Perhaps someone discovered exactly what he was for and why he was here?
I await the even more bizarrely inexplicable person that may replace him - although actually, I seriously doubt that this is possible.
A bit of me just passed out

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
