He'll be sadly missed by all on H2G2. Wherever he went, be it another world or just to the blackness we think death is, I hope he discovered the Meaning of Liff WAS 42 
Not only did he write the Guide, but he also wrote other books; they're on my shelf at the moment, waiting for re-reading.
