My sincerest condolences

for Douglas' family, for the people that he inspired and the people that he cheered up. His observations on the world were so relevant and at same time irreverent. He was a thinker who made us realise that we are, in fact, insignificant.
Douglas Adams brought us to a point where we realise that pointless ceremony is something that is not required whilst simultaneously being something to celebrate. He gave us the answers and left us to work out the questions.
He was a top man and my hats off to him. All thats left to say is that my fingers are crossed and I hope that I too die before I get too old. That is the only way you are guaranteed immortality because the people that you know live on with you in their hearts. I hope that doesn't offend anyone, doubtless it will, but who really cares?
Live forever, Douglas!
