It's pretty universal that feeling methinks.
I especially remember the content of 'Mostly Harmless' and how all those cool guys and gals from the Hitchhiker's Offices were overtaken by grey nasty corporate Vogons.
Life Imitating Art? I don't think the BBC are nasty (any station that could put on 'The Goodies', 'Kenny Everett' and 'Dr Who' can't be all bad LOL) but still they have left a firm imprint on the site and it's hard to ignore.
It shall certainly be the subject of other h2g2lifes.

Sorry. Kylie has just never done it for me. (I've asked but she keeps saying no *insert canned laughter here*).
Lil, the Crocodile Hunter I think has been unanomously (SP?) disowned by Australians everywhere. Actually I think he has been disowned by humans everywhere. At least I hope so.
(*sigh* It wouldn't take me long to drive to where he is based. Perhaps I should go down there and *starts making semi-violent movements with his hands*)
