That too....yes
You just have to be online regularly so you can help other researchers(usually new people). Direct them to specific forums etcetera. I myself sorta stayed out of that a bit. Instead I focussed on finding problem-areas. Forums where things threatened to get out of hand. Basically the job of and ACE is(was) not that different from a moderator. We just did it ourselves. It worked pretty d**n good too, so that's another (yet small) irritation : the devaluation of the ACES. Fortunately I don't think that that is very important. H2g2 comes first. And the h2g2-website, in my personal opinion, is of course the property of the BBC. It's contents are too. But You and Me and All The Other Researchers own the copyright too !!! So how about a say in what goes in the guide ? We are talking very basic principles here. Check out my page for my most recent journalentry about censorship vs. moderation.
We can only continue to build this stupendously big site if we are free to write about anything. The way in which one writes about it may as far as I am concerned by subject to scrutiny. Afterwards.
Everything's grey in this world. So to misquote Marie-Antoinette : "Let them read context"...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
