I have been lurking on the "body snatchers" thread and just had to pop in and compliment you on your calm and measured response to some of the more vitriolic "religion bashing'

I am not a Christian but believe that everyone has the right to their own belief (or non-belief) system - an opinion not shared by some of the more forceful anti-religion posters here. A prosletysing atheist is not very different from a prosletysing adherent of any religion

I know that you are relatively new to this site and so would like to add that you should not judge us all by the comments of a few.

There is also a saying here that is "Don't feed the troll'" which means that sometimes it's better to ignore those posts that are meant to inflame a situation - just a hint ....

You're welcome. This debate has actually been fun and has made me think about things. It's ironic to me now, but I looked at a pic I took last year for my press card and one I did for a column I write now. The one from just a year ago I was too thin among another minor issue and now I look healthier (even if I do need to tone up a little and lose about 2 vanity pounds. )

As far as "Trolling," I didn't feel that Dot, Dot, Dot was trolling, just asking an honest question. There is someone on another board I peruse that is very similar to him in that nature and felt he was asking an honest question. To a point, I'm willing to be straight-forward and give an honest answer. Plus, as I said there, I just want people to see that not all religious people are straightlaced and rude, in as much as not all atheists are devil worshippers (some people's opinions, not mine - especially given the definition. )

Also, no, I don't judge everyone because of a few on the boards either. I don't try judge anyone, because I've been judged quite a bit in my life, such as what I responded to as far as why I didn't go to a counselor when I was going through somewhat of a personal hell a little over a year and a half ago. It's not fair to everyone who has responded to posts I've made here. If I have inadvertently done so with my comments with using generalities too, please accept my apologies.
