m8, why don't you re-do the article a bit - add in the few extras you forgot, change the name (to sth. with "students" in it) - and re-submit it to the Eds? I'm pretty sure it would get in, providing it gets spruced up a bit. Check out the "guidelines for submitting entries" - can't remember the URL at the mo.
You could go to town on this..........
