Well, OK, I did start the new job...
Classic Krissy Posted Aug 31, 2000
Awww... I'm sure the Andrew will figure it out.
What is the commute like?

Well, it's about 3 or 4 miles!
I hope the Andrew does figure it out - he's guilting me something awful right now.

Aww...he'll be fine. I was a WRECK and I mean seriously a wreck every time my mom left me for kindergarten, and I can remember having some serious fun after she went. He'll learn soon enough, at least to a certain extent, that you'll always come back for him and his jitters will subside. Also, once he's made some friends they'll joke him out of being afraid.
Mommy's have to send their babies to school. This is one of those things that really IS good for him even though he's convinced it's not.
So, what do you do in this new job? Is it still getting better? Three or four miles is FANTASTIC! I'm only about 10 miles (if that) from work but public transportation makes it take about an hour. The truth is, I could cut that time significantly by taking the red line, but the red line goes underground and the brown line goes through Chicago and is beautiful and doesn't smell and I always get a seat.
It's very soothing before work.

Congratulations, cathy! I wish for a job i want, instead of what is available at the time. For some reason, my mother felt putting up some 11 dozen pictures of me and my brother at work helped us at school, er ... or something. That's how i remember it.

Andy gets here in 8 days. He's staying for two weeks and I can't wait. I can't tell you how difficult it is to be in love, get engaged, and not be able to snuggle and coo at each other. We have some seriously disgusting cuteness to catch up on.
He's working a day job to raise some money, and it's good money, but he's a musician and he hates it. It also puts us much farther apart time-wise now that he doesn't work until 2am and has to get up at 7. We're hanging in there and the world will be right when he's here.
The wedding is April 30.

There you go. Instead of spending lots of money on a one time dress, she spends lots of money on a two timeing dress.
So to speak.

My dress would NEVER be unfaithful.

I don't know, you ship those things overseas and they get all kinds of ideas.
Well, OK, I did start the new job...
Classic Krissy Posted Sep 14, 2000
Not this one. This one is of highest class. It's a dress that knows what it wants and is prepared to stick by me.
Well, OK, I did start the new job...
what you know as km Posted Sep 14, 2000
I think when it's my turn I'll be careful to choose a dress that is prepared to stick *on* me.
Well, OK, I did start the new job...
Classic Krissy Posted Sep 14, 2000
I dunno.. you have to be careful.. if it's too clingy it can make you trip and fall down the isle.

Well now I know who to bug with questions when I'm deploying our Windows 2000 and eventual application with perhaps a fair few of those alphabet pieces sometime in the next, oh, call it next year or so. Wanna come work for us?
