Here are some of my sketches and stuff I've been doing over the past few weeks.

A giraffe's face, photographed by my cousin Jaco Bekker. I sketched it in pencil, then scanned it in and added some highlights and details. I did the same with the next two sketches.

A Dik-dik antelope. These lovely little things live in hot, dry regions, in our area only occurring in our neighbour country of Namibia. This antelope is slightly taller than a cat, with short, ridged horns in the male only, and a rather inflated nose, almost like a short trunk.

Gemsbok antelope. These also live in hot, dry regions, such as the Kalahari Desert and most of Namibia.

A young Dryad, which inhabits the fantasy world of my 'Wavendreem's Garden' stories.
