Also, this afternoon, there will be an exhibition of my work, as well as that of a few other local artists, here in Pietersburg. I hope it goes well!

I am breathless. That tree is a poem.
with the exhibition. They'd better appreciate you, my friend, yours is a rare talent.

Ditto my better half, that tree is so outstanding I thought it was a fantasy tree!
with your exibit. I never knew how lovely water colours could be ---as a kid my efforts were way too watery to look like anything.

That tree is amazing. It looks akin to something that would grow under the sea!
I hope the exhibition was a success. We'd also love to show more of your work in The Post, if you've anything you'd like to send us!

Hello there everybody! The exhibition went well ... that is to say, some works *were* sold. An exhibition where anything sells at all, can be said to be successful. As it is, four works were sold, of which one was my Eagle Owl! So I'm quite happy. The Steenbok and the Quiver Tree might also soon find buyers. Now I'm working on another Baobab tree.
Christiane, the Quiver Tree is indeed a tree-like species of aloe!
KB and the Post Team, I will soon send something in again. I'm still trying to get the pieces of my life back together again, get settled into a routine ... but certainly, I'll submit some pictures and bits of writing again, soon.
Thanks for all the comments and compliments!
Willem
