Dreams of my Father
Willem Started conversation Mar 12, 2010
I've been having dreams of my father. In one dream, my father actually was alive though in the dream at first I thought he had died. So I said ... 'How is it possible, we had just let people know you had died, but here now you are still alive?' And he couldn't explain it either. In that dream I thought about the thing that it's not always possible to precisely define death. But then it was so fantastic since he was not only alive, he was able to speak with me once more ... for the last couple of weeks, he couldn't even speak to me. Well the dream wasn't very detailed, I don't remember what we actually *said* only that we spoke.
Another dream a few days ago ... in this dream my father didn't die, but he became better after having been extremely sick. Again it was great to be able to speak with him and tell him how worried we were about him.
Another dream where he showed up alive after we had thought he had died. This time I made sure to ask him certain things, such as where he had put certain documents my mom and I had been frantically searching for ... he alone knew where they were. In the dream he gave me some answers, but of course not very helpful when I had woken up.
The horrible thing about these dreams, is waking up from them.

I sympathise. Even though it might be hard, waking up from a dream like that, I suspect you and your wise unconscious mind are doing something necessary.
