Tomorrow my mom and I are taking my dad to Pretoria again for a follow-up examination by his cardiologist. I don't know how long we'll be there - if all goes well, we might return again on Wednesday. If my dad needs another operation, or hospitalisation, we might be there for another few days. We just hope that there will be no more bad complications.
OK so if I'm not here for a while, you all will know.

Very dear Willem, Ma and Pa,
You have obviously had to stay over in Pretoria. I wonder what they have done to Pa? I hope he is feeling better now.
We have had the most dreadful gales here. You should see sime of the riverside towns in cumbria. There is the most dreadful flooding and the unfortunate residents are without homes, and food and have lost everything . All the bridges are down so no-one can move from a to b. It must be really dreadful for them

Hello Christiane AR80 and Websailor!
Actually, our stay in Pretoria was only for two days. But I had maxed out my internet allowance and was unable to do anything here for, about, the past two weeks! Sorry about that ... I just wish I had a sort of 'counter' or some indication to show me how much access I had left ...
Anyways, about my father: the heart doctor in Pretoria is actually very satisfied with how his *heart* is doing. And I would say it looks OK to me as well ... I've been checking my dad's pulse regularly and his heartbeat *feels* strong and regular.
But there are still problems, the cancer in his prostate is growing again, and he's very nauseous, still very weak, and also now he has pain in his back and legs. So thanks for your loving thoughts and prayers - we still need them!
I will have to get back and busy on this site ... I've been missing all of you, I'm actually feeling very isolated and lonely the past while.
OK so I hope I see you elsewhere here, soon!
