Hi folks! Just to explain my lack-of-presence here over the past bit more than a week ...

I stupidly maxed out my broadband allowance by watching too many YouTube videos! And then was without internet access for the rest of the month!

Sorry about that. I usually watch YouTube only when it's quite close to the end of the month. But I had a bit of a health problem and wanted to cheer myself up a bit with other stuff to think about. So anyways I'm back now. Sorry if anyone thinks I've been ignoring him or her!

I hope it did cheer you up and the health problem is sorted. It is so easy to get carried away with all the interesting stuff that is online. My husband cannot understand why I prefer the Internet to the TV

Yes, online stuff is *so* fascinating, much better than T.V, which is passive entertainment for bored folk in my opinion.

Having said that, Internet can also become very addictive; i joined Facebook last night, simply 'cos i had Googled an old fiend & seemed the only way i could contact them, have spent much of today on that site....strangely, there are many Hootoo fiends appearing there under various guises!

Terri, contact me on Facebook - I think you'll find me there rather easily ... but in any case I'll go looking for you, as well! I've made contact again with lots of my old school friends over there, as well as keeping in touch with family living in other places.
