Ooh, i do envy you right now, i bet you've got the stove going nicely...do they still make squirrel stoves? (non boaters; it is not a means of keeping grey squirrel population down, honest!)

Which waterway are you on? Do you move around? What sort of boat?

Thanks for dropping me a line. I'll drop by later on.

My boat's a 32 foot narrowboat, currently on the Kennet & Avon near Reading at the minute. I'm doing it up for next spring, when I'll be off to tour the country. You can still buy Squirrel stoves but there's a lot of in the price tag. My stove was made by a this blacksmith called Jon, he spends his time travelling around the country in an old bus. Nothing like Cliff Richard in Summer Holiday though...
