"Manipulating people by fear and uncertainty is a time-tested way to get democratic citizens to deconstruct their own civil institutions, and quietly assume the roles of prisoners and prison guards. Is it time to start using the âfâ word for both Canada and the US?
As we look into the political abyss, are we seeing the darkening signs off fascism?"

Ah
Today I saw a jockey headbutt his horse after it lost its race.
Tonight I've read in my local paper that all the pet rescue shelters in our area have received poison pen letters (there is a pic of the writing, it's very neat red ink) along with the information that they aim for dogs and cats when they're driving.
I despair of this world

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
