This is me in a tomato peel -->
Or skin, or rind, or whatever you call whatever it is tomatoes have. Frankly, I don't see how orange peels *or* nutshells make a whole lot of sense, but I don't guess "tomato whatever" does, either.
Welcome to the Guide!
I'm the Great Red Dragon, one of the Assistant Community Editors (ACEs) of h2g2. I'm here to introduce you to the friendly, personal community that is the Guide to answer any questions you have about the mess you've just gotten yourself into.
Just kidding! I think you'll like it, really. If you have any questions or comments, or if there's anything else you need, let me know at my page, http://www.h2g2.com/U161693. Also, you can go to the ACEs homepage at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 (All of us will be glad to help!), or the New Users'Guide at http://www.h2g2.com/A352667, or the Newcomers' Page at http://www.h2g2.com/A5752, or you can click the "Help!" to hear one of the most popular Beatles songs of the group's early career.
No, really, the "Help!" button will take you to the DON'T PANIC page, where if your question can't be answered, then it isn't really a question.
I used to have a big thing for the MYTH books, too! I haven't seen any in a while; I remember reading the first one Asprin wrote after coming back from hitting the bottle and thinking that it wasn't nearly as good as his earlier stories, so I haven't read any more recent ones (if there are more recent ones, for that matter). I did, however, notice in the bookstore the other day that he has two new Phule's Company books out - have you read any of these? If you haven't, I'd say that the first two (the only ones I've read) are at least as good as the MYTH books.

Sorry! Hit "post" before I was finished writing! (For the second time today, no less!)
Anyway, I was just going to add that, speaking of Piers Anthony, I have a huge pile of Xanth books at home. Ever read these? I *loved* them when I was in junior high. I started the Incarnations series, but I never finished it. I don't think I read the Satan one, and I know I didn't get to the God one. (which other ones were there? I can remember Death, Fate, War,... was Nature one? What am I missing?)
Well, once again, welcome to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Earth edition), and make yourself at home!

Of *course* I've read Xanth I'm not too current on it because after reading the first 20 or so, the puns got old I haven't read Phule's Company, but now that someone has recommended it (I asked a few people and they said it was "all right") I probably will. And, if you're interested, there was Death, Time, War, Fate, Nature, Satan, and God. And you missed out if you didn't read "For Love of Evil", it was a favorite of mine. "Being a Green Mother" was the ultimate, though...Oh, look, I'm babbling. But thanks for replying and for the help, I'm already enjoying myself here, and can't wait to learn the ups and downs of this strange place. Bye!
