Wasn't there a book called Journey to Ixtlan (or similar)?
Anyway, I read some of his work. Still think about it sometimes. The "gait of the warrior" really works when you're running on rough terrain at night. Never got to steer my dreams though.

Journey to Ixtlan was the third Castaneda book, and one of the most well known; unfortunately, it was the book that really convinced Richard deMILLE that everything was a hoax. When I found out Castaneda was a hoax I was half way through Ixtlan. S**t really.
