We've finally reached the end of day 2. 8 more to go and I'll be back with my husband, whom I miss terribly.
We went on 6 hours flights, first from Manchester to Milan, then from Milan to Tel Aviv. Ryan was close to perfection, slept most of the way and only cried once, no throwing up, no dheorrea (sp?) or anything. The stop over at Milan was useful- changed and fed him- the people on the planes were nice, including air attendants, I had help with the ing pram, and I swear I'll never go on my own again.
We landed in Israel ON TIME, at 3.30am monday, went to bed round 5.00, and I was woken up for a bottle at 6.30, but that's just part of being a mummy. The first day was nice, my mum spoiled him rotten, we can't improve his opinion of the sea, it seems, and I've been to see my best friend for far too short a time.
Today was a bit tougher- it's around 30 degrees celsius, so baby kept falling asleep and sweating, but also managed some serius crawling. His belly and teeth hurt him, so he winged quite a lot, and now he's finally sleeping in bed.
I'm still in awe at what a sweet thing he really is- I barely hear any complaints from him unless he's really in pain or tired. He seems to miss his daddy, keeps jumping when the door opens, and was disappointed to realise that the man who was holding him today was "only" his uncle.
Ah, well, we're leaving next wednesday and then he would go back to drulling on his beloved Googoo.
