Pray tell us ignorants how to pronounce Caerau

They're still going? I had no idea.

So how do you pronounce it? I'd say kay-row (as in argument, not boating).

How does Phil say it, probably sounds right to me

Well he was probably technically correct in strict Welsh pronunciation in saying it as

Kai Rai (or k-eye r-eye if that works better)

However nobody who lives there/here or in Cardiff in general calls it that- they say.

Kai-ra (short ending, not raaah) is what the locals call it and I'd go with them.

So it really grated when they kept saying 'wrongly'
