you might want to be careful. this entry sounds suspiciously like another i read before. and i was against it then, and i still am now.
i don't like the idea of disproving something that everyone over the age of 15 knows is fake anyway. what is the point?
either way, this sounds a lot like plagiarism.

oh, and, THAT WAS NOT THE OFFICIAL OPINION. although i'm a subeditor, that was NOT anything except my own personal opinion. just to be clear.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with what sea-sXe said: I have read this Entry before. It's called "Santa's debate" or similar and has been posted many times. A quick research at [URL Removed by moderator] showed 88 matches all over the web.
I suppose that you have posted this piece "by accident", not realizing that it is against the rules. Don't worry too much, this has happened to me before, and I'm sure that it will happen to others as well. Here's what I would like to happen:
I will suggest to have this thread moved to the Sinbin, as it is an obvious violation of the h2g2 rules. Please understand that that's necessary. I would even suggest that you delete this Entry. I did that when I found out that an Entry I posted to h2g2 was someone else's work. I made an excuse to the author and got one of the kindest replies that I remember.
If in doubt what to do, please feel free to call me.

P.S.
This IS my official Scout's opinion. And my inofficial personal opinion, too.

I was aware that this is not an original and managed to find 3 other similair entries just on the h2g2 site, which I have credited. tho if you do look at it a bit closer it has a couple of additions to these pieces. Also the argument is for and against!
BTW. Just because people over 15 think they know everything doesn't mean they can't enjoy a bit of good fiction.
