perhaps what should be mentioned though is the proud 'value 31.8 grams' on the front of each packet ("value" 31.8 grams in the speechmark era) which appear on the front of each packet. it is a well known fact that you get more crisps in a bag of seabrook than any other brand.

also worth a metnion: the seabrook "special delivery" vans.

a friend remembers an incident from childhood when a neighbour had a 'bad bag' of seabrook (no! say it isn't so!). seabrook immediately despatched a "special delivery" of a whole box of crisps to the distraught woman.

nearly all seabrook are "crinkle cut". flat seabrooks are something of a rarity - usually found in pubs.

little-known fact: if you're a community group wanting to sell seabrook at say a church fete, they'll put you a box of mixed flavours together.
