[SCENE: Fifty feet above Dantooine, in Twinkle's starship: day side. YK, Mackenzie, and Twinkle are in the cockpit. Er, room. Ah, wherever we are.]
[YK] That hill looks nice. [points]

[Um, that would be cockpit. It's a small ship, with seating room for 4 humanoid-size beings at most. You can see it from a link from my space.]
It does. *circles it a bit* Very nice. I think it'd be pretty good. *Sets the ship to hover mode, teleports to the hill, looks around, teleports back, and lands the ship at the base of the hill.*
It's perfect. When do I get to move in?

[YK] Now, I guess.
[Mackenzie] I'll get the prefab tents set up.
[She waves her hand and several prefabricated tents spring out of the ground.]
[Fade to somewhat later. The ship has landed off to one side, and the prefab tents look occupied. (/I/ don't know how, just put some blankets around it and make them look weathered or something!) Several dozen droids are clearing away a bit of the hill. YK, Mackenzie, Twinkle, and Elbert Anoway (a friend of YK's) are nearby]
[Elbert] I gotta hand it to you, Twinkle. This place looks great.
[YK] Okay. Now I'll set up satellites around the planet so we can teleport from one settlement to the other with ease.
[Mackenzie] I thought we could anyway? [twirls her finger, leaving a purple streak of light behind it]
[YK] Well, not everyone who comes here will have the magical prowess you do.

Yeah. I have two teleporting abilities, actually. One of them is very precise and fast, but has a range of only 200 feet. The other one has no range limit that I know of, but I have to know where I'm going, and it has a few miles' margin of error. The rest is just special effects.
*does an anime-style teleport in circles around YK, then slowly fades out and reappears in his original location*
I wonder... Mackenzie, what method do you use to teleport? Could you explain how you do it, so I might be able to learn? It's one of my major fields of study, examining and comparing different types of magic. It's what got me interested in pokémon.

[Etc. ad lib: she tries to convey something, but it's obvious she can't really explain herself. She then teleports across the hill, in a manner unlike anything Twinkle has seen before]
