A Conversation for Anime and Manga
Anime: Ghost in the Shell

I recently joined an anime club at my university and we watched "Ghost in the Shell." We watched it in Japanese with English subtitles. It was awesome. Anime isn't just "cartoons." This one had a pretty deep message, and I didn't even fully understand it. But what I got from it is like Being You and What Makes You Who You Are. That may be worded badly, but do you know what I mean? I'd definately like to learn more about Anime/Manga.

I finally managed to import some of the Ghost In The Shell T.V. series, which is more of the same - maybe more police drama oriented rather than action oriented. Unfortunately the subtitles were translated by the Japanese and so doesn't make any sense :>
Just waiting for Dark Horse to translate the second graphic novel now :>
