Here I am again!!
It was a bit quiet but I had to do a lot of things the last couple of weeks.
Last week I was talking with ShazzPRME about our previous holiday in Egypt (no we didn't went together) and if someone wants to know where to go in Egypt, ask one of us and we'll both say, everywhere but Hurghada.
Why? Hurghada looks like a big constructionsite with big holidayresorts scattered all over the place.
Diving? Yes you can, but where are all the beautifull corals??
And the rest? You'd better go to the costa's of Spain, closer by and just as much beaches and disco's.
If you decide to go, please check if your trip stays in Hurghada, when you do, make shure it is as short as possible because it isn't worth it to stay there for more than 2 days.
I went with Djoser and stayed there (thank God) for 1 day, for the rest it was a very nice holiday in wich I've seen the most of Egypt at a nice price.

Indeed yes... I will go along with that!
If you want to really enjoy Egypt, do the touristy bit the first week and then stay in Luxor for a second week! Ask your tour guide to find you an English speaking taxi driver, say what you would really like to see and negotiate a price! I did that last time and saw far more then the average visitor for about 80 punds the entire second week... that included all entry fees and the driver being available 24 hours a day for seven days 
Sadly the absolutely best bit... standing on the roof at Dendera... is no longer an option, but that and Abydos are still excellent places to see, as are the Tombs of the Nobles and Artisans... usually missed by arranged tours for lack of time!
If you can go... GO!!!

I'm back!
Just as ShazzPRME said, there are lots of places you won't go on the average tours.
We paid 50 pounds for a carriage and drove the whole day across Luxor and surrounding places.
We made friends for life!!
I WANT TO GO BACK!!!!!

Well it goes for both teams : We have a bet with Kwatro(winner gets 4 Murphys)...Ooops....almost did some advertising there... 
We just have to make sure that one of the Kasteel-teams finishes before either of the Kwatro-teams...A bit of competition hever hurt anyone...
