I think you should be proud of it too. It's got an olde worlde style about it (like Ms Dickenson indeed), but still feels fresh. Do keep sharing, I for one am enjoying a new voice in the AWW smiley - ok

I'd recommend reading some more Dickenson too, along with Poe, Tennyson and some Walt Whitman smiley - smiley

It's good to see some real rhyming poetry for once. I particularly liked 'darkened eye'. It did remind me a bit of The walrus and the Carpenter, though!
