A Conversation for Eddie - Mascot of Iron Maiden

Being an Iron Maiden fan, I am glad I was informed of this entry. While I am not here to brown-nose, I have a few things to point out...
1. Charlotte the Harlot is NOT a single from the first album!
2. There are a LOT more 'easter eggs' for Somewhere In Time...I believe you could find most of them at

3. "Hewhocannotbenamed" is the drummer (I think) for The Dwarves (I think), and I know for certain that no member of The Dwarves has painted for Iron Maiden! I could try and find out the name of the proper artist, if you want.
4. "Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far away you think you are!"
I'm surprised I didn't notice this after re-reading the guide entry to go over these errors...I believe this sentance is a play on a lyric from Maiden's self-titled signature song, Iron Maiden. The chorus begins:
"Oh well, whereever, wherever you are
Iron Maiden's gonna get you, not matter how far..."
Maybe the author originally meant to write the "Iron Maiden's gonna get you"?
Maybe I could pick out one or two more smaller inaccuarcies, but these are the major bloopers. Up the Irons!

Hey Wrathchild,
Thanks for the feedback. A few points:
Having checked the official Iron Maiden Website
[URL removed by moderator]
I have checked your first query and 'Charlotte the Harlot' is listed as a track there.
As for the hewhocannotbenamed reference, I have had a quick trawl and found the name of the artist - Melvyn Grant - and will add this in.
Thanks for the link to the other easter eggs, I'm sure the h2g2 Community will love these.
If there are any inaccuracies, please point them out - it is this kind of feedback that makes the Guide what it is.
Cheers for now.

This is probably WAY too late to say but, though Charlotte The Harlot is indeed a track in the first album, it is not and never was a single made a good B-side though!

As a Maiden fan too, I got to say one more thing, In "Seventh son" what´s in Eddie's left hand is his son, not his heart.

Six year later, a curator wanders into this dusty part of the guide and finds kingAlphonse's comment.
I've fixed the bit about Eddie's son being held in his hand, and have changed the reference to Charlotte from 'single' to 'track'.
Key: Complain about this post
