I really should be writing up my transfer report, but I'm missing that essential brain, so I don't think I can.
The boiler died on Tuesday...so no hot water....The joys of boiling the kettle to wash! 
Had to take clothes to laundrette....washing machine may heat water, but in that flat nothing dries unless the central heating is on...so at least someone else has to do the boring wash this week! 
This of course means I have to get out of work by seven tonight, or I'll not be able to pick up clean clothes...a bit of a problem seeing as I have only one days left....
Discovered that I have to activate my Na Orthovanadate, so todays experiment is pretty much up the creek too...
Ah well, Easter soon asn I get to see my parents for a day or two...

Had cold shower (took about two minutes) which made me feel nice and warm...when I got out anyhow!
Could have done with some of that Whisky...

I Only Joking.
I know it no fun. In the brewers flat I had way back, it took me six months to get the boiler replaced. I used to run pipes through the pub garden to import water from the brewery!

True, but that was mere spilling!
Try moving a barrel in a overheating cellar, the disturbance causing the bung to shoot out (narrowly missing your ear) then a jet of beer hits the low ceiling and falls down around you 
Still it is good for the hair!
Any idea when your boiler will be fixed?
