A Conversation for Cinnamon Toast

Whilst in college, my roomate and I bonded over cinnamon toast. We prepared it by simply putting the bread in the toaster oven until slightly browned, then spreading it with margarine and sprinkling it with cinnamon and sugar which we had premixed into a shaker(I seem to remember back in my youth one could actually buy premixed cinnamon and sugar at the grocery store--I don't know if that is still true) and popping it back in the toaster oven until it formed a sort of hard crunchy shell. We ate this morning, noon, and night, usually when we should have been studying.
Some bread companies make cinnamon bread with swirls in it for you to pop in the toaster but it is NOT THE SAME.

Cinnamon toast a friendship food? Hey, I like that All I've ever managed is to get the toast to bond to the grill - not quite the same. Perhaps I should have a bit of the recipe titled 'toast experiences'. I should definitely add the time-saving measures suggested, and possibly start a Fraud Toast bit, listing cinnamon bread swirls as well as breakfast cereal. *lol* I never noticed it says 'Written and researched by Cakewalker'. I'm feeling hungry - think I'll go do a tad more research
