I'm sorry but I think you've chosen the wrong place to do this.
As can be seen in the <./>HouseRules</.> there is a clause that states:
No advertising. Advertising is not allowed anywhere on BBCi. We've never allowed Researchers to advertise on h2g2, but being a part of the BBC makes it even more important that the editorial independence of the Guide is not threatened by people filling the Guide with adverts. Writing entries that review or criticise commercial products are obviously fine, as long as they're balanced, but adverts aren't.
So I'm afraid I'm going to 'Yikes' (Refer to the moderators) your post.
You will get an email through with more detail if they deem it necessary.
On the other hand welcome to h2g2, if you want to meet the community why not hop along to <./>Askh2g2</.> there are usually loads of conversations going on there and people are generally hip and groovey

P.S you don't have to be just a number you can click the preferences button over there <-- and it will let you change your name to something a little more personal. However if you like the number then feel free to keep it I also hope you've written something in your personal space so one of our ACEs (Assistant Community Editors) can greet you officially. If not don't worry it's not difficult just go to your space via the my space <-- button and when your there click the edit page button on the right hand side of your space. Good luck, give me a shout if you need any help. You can visit me at my space by clicking on my name above this post!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
