The land at the bottom of the Piri Reis map is not Antarctica.
1. It's shown connected to South America.
2. It shows a vague resemblance to the coast of South America turned through 120 degrees, but no resemblance to Antarctica whatsoever.
3. It's shown at completely the wrong latitude.
4. The accompanying notes say that it the information was given to him by Portuguese sailors, and that they reported the land as being hot.
So it's definitely not Antarctica. Nor is the map made from Atlantean knowledge.
Pity, but this entry is a load of cobblers.
