Now I've got a little grandson of six weeks, guess what? Son no 2 turns round and announces that he and his girlfriend are expecting, too. This is really good news, as Son No 1 and family will be moving to the States early next year. So I'll still have one littl'un nearby.
Well, comparatively nearby - there's no knowing where they'll end up. Son No 2 should be starting a job proper some time next year. That leaves us with just one son at university....

They will have no option there! 
Their fathers will be speaking English anyway.
As they will of course be geniuses, I am hoping they will pick up a few more languages before they're three.

That's a tall order if you think about it seriously.
Staying fit, retaining one's humour, and being flexible with time are, I suppose the most important thing for being a good Gran. Perhaps I could write an entry on it....
