I've been hearing about the Monthy Python revival show and have just checked if the last night - which is showing in cinemas all over the world - is also going to be shown in my favourite local cinema.
Yay! It is.
I don't expect it to be hilarious, or anything like Monty Python used to be (God, they were soooo sexist) but I shall get my tickets asap for an evening of nostalgia and penguins.

So the first review are out.
Exactly as I expected. Most of the critics say it wasn't brilliant, using the old sketches, and some of the old crew looked a bit lost on stage. But you just had to be there, even if you weren't a died-in-the-wool fan.
