The BBC has done it again. There is a programme called World Service Music Documentary.
At the bottom it says: "UK only".
Last time I looked the "World" was a bit bigger than that.
And they complain about the Americans calling some obscure local tournament the "World Series".
(OK - I know it's about rights and stuff, but why frustrate the expats and other interested parties living abroad even more)
I took a screenshot:

Wow - thanks. That's a lovely offer. However, when I click on the link to the podcast, I just get "you can't access this from outside the UK"
While I could browse through what the World Service has covered on its music documentaries in general, I can't look up the details of which items are in the podcast itself because it's a hotchpotch of different programmes, and the details of the podcast are presumably only available through the podcast website - see above! Vicious circle.
Further delving took me here, http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/help/playing_radio_progs/mobileradio where I find out that the iplayer (should I want to stream live radio, which is probably very expensive) is not available outside the UK yet.
I did discover, however, that the iplayer and iplayer for radio have been split into two. But that any apps relating to it are exclusively for iphones. Wot I don't have. Mine's an Android.

Oh, beg pardon. It is available for Android.
In the UK only.

So the only option I have is streaming the individual programmes on the PC or laptop. Better than nothing, I suppose.
As I say, vicious circle.

Sounds like an unfortunate title indeed. Perhaps you should drop them a line and give them some feedback on it. Sounds like they didn't think too hard on that one.
