After a few days at my mother's I just got back to the office. I think I broke the record this time with regard to the number of types of transport used.
Hire car to the airport. Plane back to Germany Bus to Karlsruhe Tram home. 
Then I got on my bike and came to work.
I could only have beaten that if I'd taken the other route from Karlsruhe and gone by train. And come home from the station by horse and cart.
Anyway, I'm whacked. I had to get up at 5.30 this morning (GMT) which is 4.30 CET.
