h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's about midnight on a Monday night. After the re-occurring login, hit reply, being told to log in vicious circle which is usual for a Monday, my page finally appeared in logged-in mode.

But the journals are all in black letters. *blink* - hard to read black on dark blue........

It'll be fine in the morning, I'm sure. Pastey is a goo user, so he'll have noticed...

Whilst I was writing those three lines, it changed back to the usual white. Sorry to interrupt your browsing with this piece of now utterly useless information. And thank you, Pastey.

TC, I'm not sure if we have the same login problems but if I login and I get a blank page, or can not display page I ignore it and go to my favourites and click on h2g2 and hey presto I am signed in and I go from there

I don't think I've had a blank page, but lots of error messages, but I don't mind them.

It is quite normal that we have to log in once a week (I've forgotten where I read that) but with me it works like this on Sunday nights/Monday mornings.

1. I go to my personal space (via favourites)
2. It appears as though it wasn't my page, so I have to log in.
3. I log in and start reading a conversation.
4. I go to reply to a posting and get told I'm not logged in.
5. I log in and click enter and instead of getting the window to write the post, I get my personal space again.
Repeat the steps 2-5 indefinitely.

The odd thing this time was that the font at the bottom of my personal space was in a different colour.

I see, not the same problem at all then, I think Mina was having a weekly problem too and it was something to do with a cookie, I read that somewhere too, sorry to be not at all helpful.
