It's lunchtime in the office and I've logged into h2g2 for the usual sparkling conversation. It seems everyone is still sitting at home in their comfy chairs, digesting turkey. Not much sparkle. 
Oh well, 
to the lot of you. I quite like work at this time of year. It's nice and laid back, the boss is away, not many customers calling....
And I shall have to work late tonight and tomorrow to catch up on hours apparently lost some time in the past couple of months. Makes a change from previous years when I finished the year with 100s of hours of overtime on my card.

Today's a Public Holiday in Ireland - we always get two holidays, one for Christmas Day and one for St Stephen's Day. Since Christmas Day fell on a Sunday this year, the day off work happens today.

Oh yes - I'd forgotten that. Just shows how teutonified I've become. Christmas already seems a long way away.

No - it's not boring. You can always find something to do, even if it's just filing. And if the worst comes to the worst, I can go and clean the fridge in the kitchen and later I shall certainly descale the coffee machine, as the 
junkies are all away.

I'm working - no peace for the wicked 
and since my customers are in a non-christian country, and my bosses are all totally mad
I'm busier now than usual (which means - it's insane and I am 
in the loo most of the time from stress)
